1.) To understand and believe that I am
a sinner.
(Ro 3:23) for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God,
2.) To know that God loves me.
(Jn 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave
his one and only Son, that whoever believes in
him shall not perish but have eternal life.
3.) To know Christ died for me to take
away my sin.
(Ro 5:8) But God demonstrates his own love for us
in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died
for us.
4.) To become God’s child I must receive Christ
as my own personal Savior.
(Jn 1:12) Yet to all who received him, to those who
believed in his name, he gave the right to become
children of God—
5.) To believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
is to have eternal life.
(Jn 17:3) Now this is eternal life: that they may
know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom
you have sent.
