There are four things every believer should know:
1) God wants you to know you are eternally
secure.
(Jn. 10:27-29) My sheep listen to my voice;
I know them, and they follow me. I give them
eternal life, and they shall never perish; no
one can
snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has
given them to me, is greater than all; no one
can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
(1 Jn. 5:13) I write these things to you who
believe in the name of the Son of God so that
you may know that you have eternal life.
2) God wants you to know when tempted
you can overcome it. 1 Cor. 10:13)
No temptation has seized you except what is
common to man. And God is faithful; he
will not let you be tempted beyond what you can
bear. But when you are tempted, he will also
provide a way out so that you can stand up under
it.
3) God wants you to know that He will
forgive you should you sin. (1 Jn
1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful
and
just and will forgive us our sins and purify
us from all unrighteousness.
(1 Jn 2:1) My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin.
But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus
Christ, the Righteous One.
4) God wants you to know He hears and answers prayer.
(Jn. 16:24) Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you
will receive, and your joy will be complete.
