1.) We please God as we grow in faith.
(Heb. 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

2.) We please God when we study His Word and pray to Him.
(Jn 15:7) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

3.) We please God and love Him because He first loved us.
(1 Jn 4:10) This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

4.) We please God when we thank Him.
(1 Thes. 5:18) give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

5.) We please God as we learn to grow in grace.
(2 Pe 3:18) But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
